The week in one line
Thirty-nine Super Boosts settled between Monday 5 October and Sunday 11 October 2026. At the flat £10 notional stake the ledger uses throughout, that meant £380 staked and a profit of £27.50, a return on investment of 7.2%.
Eighteen of those boosts won, twenty lost and one was void, a strike rate of 47.4%. Nothing from the window is still outstanding, so the figures above are final rather than provisional. The boosts landed across six publishing days: 5 October, 6 October, 8 October, 9 October, 10 October and 11 October.
How the bookmakers split
Eight firms published in the window. Five finished the week in front of the flat stake and three behind it.
| Bookmaker | Boosts | Won | Profit | ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BOYLE Sports | 4 | 3 | £40.00 | 100% |
| Betfair | 3 | 3 | £30.00 | 100% |
| bet365 | 5 | 3 | £25.00 | 50% |
| Betfred | 2 | 1 | £10.00 | 50% |
| Sky Bet | 3 | 2 | £10.00 | 33.3% |
| William Hill | 11 | 5 | -£7.50 | -6.8% |
| Paddy Power | 5 | 1 | -£30.00 | -60% |
| Ladbrokes | 6 | 0 | -£50.00 | -100% |
BOYLE Sports posted the biggest cash profit from only four boosts, and Betfair went three from three. At the other end, Ladbrokes had six boosts settle, five lost and one was void, so not a single winner was recorded against its name this week. William Hill was much the busiest publisher with eleven, and finished marginally down at -£7.50 from £110 staked. Paddy Power won one of five.
How the sports split
Football dominated the volume with 30 of the 39 boosts, won 12, lost 17 and had the one void. At £290 staked it came out at -£27.50, a 9.5% negative return. The profit came from elsewhere.
American Football returned £40 from six boosts, four of them winning, for a 66.7% ROI. Horse Racing went two from two for £25 and a 125% return, the best rate of any sport in the window from the smallest sample that produced a profit. The single Golf boost lost, costing £10.
Standouts and misses
The biggest single return was BOYLE Sports pricing McCaffrey and Smith-Njigba both to score a touchdown at 3/1 for the 49ers at the Seahawks on Sunday, worth £30 at the flat stake. bet365 had Jarrod Bowen to score or assist at 2/1 in West Ham against QPR on Thursday for £20, and Betfred matched that with both teams to score and each team to register 3+ shots on target at Crystal Palace, also 2/1 for £20. bet365's Drumbeat at 6/4 in the 13:50 Newmarket returned £15, and William Hill's England to win to nil against Czechia at 5/4 returned £12.50.
The misses clustered around one fixture and one market. Morgan Gibbs-White to have one or more shots on target at Selhurst Park was boosted to Evens by both Paddy Power and Sky Bet, and both lost. The same Sunday saw William Hill lose Everton to score the first goal at Hull and Liverpool to lead at any time against Manchester City, each at Evens. Paddy Power's Bruno Fernandes 1+ shot on target at Evens in Manchester United against Tottenham went the same way. Five of the week's worst results were Evens shots on Premier League weekend.
Against the previous week and the long run
The window before this one settled 38 boosts for £55 profit from £360 staked, a 15.3% ROI and a 50% strike rate. So this week had one more boost settle, the same number of winners, and roughly half the profit at less than half the rate of return.
Across all 237 settled Super Boosts the tracker holds, the running total is £152.50 profit from £2,310 staked, a 6.6% ROI and a 45.9% strike rate. This window came in slightly ahead of that long-run figure. The full running profit and loss carries the detail, and the archive lists every boost behind it.
What this is and what it is not
This report records one thing: what backing every Super Boost we listed, at the same £10 notional stake, would have returned between 5 and 11 October 2026. It is a ledger of settled results, not a verdict on any bookmaker's pricing. A firm with a perfect week here published three or four boosts; a firm with none published six. Those are small samples and they move. Nothing in these figures describes what the next window will do, and past results do not predict future ones. If you want to examine the arithmetic on a single price rather than the aggregate, the Super Boost value calculator does that job.
