The headline
Thirty-eight Super Boosts settled in the window of Monday 28 September to Sunday 4 October 2026. At the flat notional stake of £10 a boost, £360 was staked and the ledger closed the week £55 in profit, a return on investment of 15.3%.
The win-loss split was dead even: 18 won, 18 lost, with two boosts voided. That is a strike rate of exactly 50%, and it is the clearest illustration you will get of why strike rate and profit are different measurements. Half the settled boosts came in, and the week finished in profit anyway, because the winners that landed were priced longer than the ones that did not.
Nothing from the week is outstanding. The unsettled count is zero, so the figures above are final rather than provisional.
How the bookmakers split
Eight bookmakers published Super Boosts across the seven days. The spread between the best and worst weeks was wide.
| Bookmaker | Boosts | Won | Profit | ROI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BOYLE Sports | 5 | 3 | £40.00 | 80.0% |
| bet365 | 7 | 4 | £32.50 | 46.4% |
| Paddy Power | 5 | 4 | £32.50 | 65.0% |
| Betfair | 7 | 5 | £30.00 | 42.9% |
| Sky Bet | 2 | 1 | £0.00 | 0.0% |
| William Hill | 3 | 1 | -£10.00 | -33.3% |
| Betfred | 3 | 0 | -£20.00 | -100.0% |
| Ladbrokes | 6 | 0 | -£50.00 | -100.0% |
BOYLE Sports posted the biggest profit from only five boosts, and almost all of it came from one result. Paddy Power had the best strike rate of the week at 80% from five. Betfair won five of seven, and bet365 matched Paddy Power's £32.50 from a larger sample.
At the other end, Ladbrokes did not win any of its six, with one void, and gave back £50. Betfred also went without a winner from three, two of which settled as losers. Five boosts between Sky Bet and William Hill produced one win apiece.
How the sports split
Football was far and away the most listed sport with 17 boosts, and it returned exactly nothing: seven won, eight lost, two void, £0 profit and 0% ROI. Darts also finished level at £0 from nine boosts, despite only three of them winning.
The profit came from the two smaller columns. American Football and Horse Racing each had six boosts, each won four, and each returned £27.50 at 45.8%.
Standouts and misses
The single biggest winner was BOYLE Sports pricing each player to hit 10 or more 180s in Gerwyn Price v Luke Humphries at 4/1 on Sunday 4 October. It landed for £40, which was the whole of BOYLE Sports' week on its own.
Next came bet365's 2/1 treble on Czechia v England on 29 September - England to win, most corners and most shots on target - good for £20. The same firm took £17.50 from So Regal in the 1.15 at Ascot at 7/4, and £15 from Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson both throwing a passing touchdown at Steelers @ Browns. Paddy Power's Jonathan Taylor 80+ rushing yards and a touchdown at 5/4 added £12.50.
The losses were uniform in size, every one of them a £10 reverse at even money. Betfred had two of them: Kalpana to finish in the top four in the 3.05 at Longchamp, and both teams to score in Croatia v England. William Hill's Luke Humphries bull finish went down, Sky Bet's 1+ goal in each of Saturday's EFL 3pm matches failed on 3 October, and Betfair missed with Jaylen Warren or DK Metcalf to score a touchdown.
Against the previous window and the long run
The week before settled 19 boosts for £10 profit at 5.3% ROI, with a 52.6% strike rate. This window doubled the volume and returned considerably more, with a marginally lower strike rate.
Across every settled Super Boost to the end of this week, the running record stands at 198 boosts, 88 won, 105 lost, five void, £125 profit from £1,930 staked, an ROI of 6.5% at a strike rate of 45.6%. A single £55 week is a meaningful share of that all-time figure, which says as much about the size of the sample as about the week.
What this tracking is
These numbers record what backing every listed Super Boost at the same £10 notional stake would have returned across this window, and nothing more. They are a ledger of settled results, not a verdict on any bookmaker's pricing: six Ladbrokes boosts and three Betfred ones are far too few to judge a firm on. A week of results tells you nothing about what the next week will do, and past results do not predict future ones. The full list sits in the archive, and the value calculator shows the arithmetic behind an individual price.
