The week in one line

Thirty-six Super Boosts settled in the window of Mon 7 Sept to Sun 13 Sept 2026. At the flat notional stake of £10 a boost, £350 was staked and the ledger finished £7.50 in front, an ROI of 2.1%. Sixteen won, 19 lost and one was voided, a strike rate of 45.7%. Nothing from the week is still outstanding: all 36 have settled, so these figures are final rather than provisional.

It was a busy week by the standards of this ledger, and a narrow one. A profit of £7.50 across 36 boosts is the sort of margin that a single result either way would have flipped.

How the bookmakers split

The spread between firms was far wider than the overall figure suggests.

Ladbrokes50-£50.00-100.0%

bet365 carried the week on its own: six winners from seven, £70 of profit and an 85.7% strike rate. Without that column the ledger would have been well into the red. At the other end, Ladbrokes went nought from five and gave back £50, the only firm to finish the window without a single winner. William Hill was one from five for a £30 loss.

Paddy Power's four boosts included the week's single void, which is why its £10 profit sits against £30 of settled stake rather than £40.

How the sports split

Football was the bulk of the week and the drag on it: 23 boosts, nine winners, a 39.1% strike rate and a loss of £32.50 at an ROI of -14.1%. Everything else was positive. Horse Racing returned £50 from seven boosts, five of them winners, for a 71.4% ROI. The single Boxing boost won, for £10. American Football was the other soft spot, with one winner from five and a £20 loss, including the week's void.

Put simply, the racing column paid for the football column and left £7.50 over.

Standouts and misses

The biggest single return came from Sky Bet on Champions League Tuesday: Antoine Semenyo and Jude Bellingham to have 1+ shot on target each at 2/1, worth £20 on the boosts of 8 September. Three boosts returned £17.50 apiece at 7/4 - bet365's Night In Vegas at Doncaster on the Thursday, bet365's Asuka or Blue Brother at the same track on the Sunday, and Betfred's treble of Erling Haaland 1+ shot on target with fouls from Bruno Fernandes and Enzo Fernandez in the Manchester derby. bet365's Ruby Wedding or Silver Lake at 5/4 added £12.50 on the Friday.

The losses were uniform rather than dramatic, because so many of them were priced at evens. William Hill's Man City to score in the first half, BOYLE Sports' both teams to score in the same match, William Hill's Spurs to score first against Everton, Sky Bet's Lewis Dunk 1+ foul at Coventry and Paddy Power's Cole Palmer 2+ shots on target against Hull each cost £10. Sunday's derby card produced both a £17.50 winner and two of the five worst results.

Against last week and against the record

The previous window settled 27 boosts for a loss of £12.50, an ROI of -4.6% and a 37.0% strike rate. This week was more active, more accurate and on the right side of the line, though only just.

Across the whole ledger, 110 Super Boosts have now settled: 48 won, 60 lost, two void, £1,080 staked and £77.50 of profit at an ROI of 7.2% and a 44.4% strike rate. This week's 2.1% sits below that all-time figure, so the running average edged down even as the balance edged up. The full history is on the results page.

What this is and is not

This is a record of what backing every listed Super Boost at the same £10 stake would have returned across one week. It is not a verdict on any bookmaker: seven boosts from bet365 and five from Ladbrokes are small samples, and a week of results tells you about those specific selections and nothing more. Past results do not predict future ones, and none of the above says anything about what the next window will do.
